Colossians 1. 27 HCSB
"God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Pastor Darick L. Rutley, Sr embraced the call to the ministry of Jesus Christ in the spring of 2002. Darick, along with his wife, Stephanie, founded a youth organization called “United Youth In Christ” in 2004 which was comprised of various youth ministries in the local metro Detroit Michigan area. He experienced great success with events for young people across the area. Minister Darick was promoted and ordained as an Elder in June of 2008 by his father and Pastor, Bishop Rosezell Rutley, where his responsibilities increased in the ministry. As an anointed psalmist and singer Elder Darick’s music ministry became more in demand. He has been featured on 20 CD projects (two being nationally released on a major record label). His music ministry has afforded him opportunities to sing on stages and pulpits across the United States! In October of 2012 he released his first CD project titled “The Art of Praise & Worship”. The following year he founded a Praise & Worship Conference called “Praise & Worship Symposium”. Its mission is to teach from a biblical perspective what God expects from his creation: PRAISE & WORSHIP. Pastor Darick has faithfully served as an associate Pastor under Bishop Rosezell Rutley until his elevation to Senior Pastor of Berea Family Tabernacle of Faith Sunday December 28, 2014. He served in this capacity for almost 5 years. One of his greatest achievements while pastoring was burning the church mortgage and putting the church in a position to be debt free! Pastor Darick launched “Life & Godliness” Radio program, which aired to over 4.1 million homes throughout Southeast Michigan. In October of 2020, Pastor Darick and he family relocated to Houston, TX where he has served on staff as worship leader at The Fountain of Praise under the leadership of Drs. Remus E. Wright and Mia K. Wright. One of his favorite scriptures is “Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think according to the power that worketh in you” (Ephesians 3:20). He is the husband of Stephanie, father of three girls: Madisen, Taylor, and Morgan; and one son: Darick Jr.
